The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE)
Mission in Kosovo invites young women between the ages of 16 and
22 from Kosovo with interests in participating in policy and decision
making processes, voluntarism, community work, and advocacy to
apply for the OSCE Local Dialogue Academy for Young Women, to be
held from 08 until 13 June 2019 in Hotel Ulpiana in Gračanica/Graçanicë.
About the OSCE Local Dialogue Academy for Young Women
The OSCE Local Dialogue Academy provides a platform for young
women from all communities to overcome barriers in
communication, deconstruct stereotypes and set a baseline for
further dialogue through peer-to-peer learning, and coaching and
mentoring activities. It aims at fostering co-operation, focusing on
common issues of concern related to gender equality and women
empowerment.
The OSCE Local Dialogue Academy envisages six days of training,
involving team-building exercises and peer-to-peer coaching, and
will cover topics such as gender equality, participation in public and
political decision making process, leadership, as well as coaching on
practical skills (how to write a motivation letter, and CV, etc.).
Qualifications
We invite young women between the ages of 16 and 22* from Kosovo
with interests in participating in policy and decision making
processes, voluntarism, community work, and advocacy. English
language skills are not mandatory.
